Asaba Church Confronts Suspected Child Abductor

A neatly dressed man identified as Richard was confronted by worshippers after allegedly attempting to abduct a baby during a church service in Asaba, Delta State, on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses said the man pretended to be confused and faked insanity when questioned but church members dismissed his behaviyor as an act.

Footage of the confrontation has since gone viral on social media, sparking widespread concern over child safety in places of worship.

As of the time of this report, the Delta Police Command has not confirmed whether the suspect has been taken into custody.
