After Her Return From Dubai, Aisha Buhari Empowers Nigerian Women, Youths

  • A lot of Nigerian women and youths are now beneficiaries of an empowerment scheme initiated by Aisha Buhari
  • The first lady on Thursday, March 25, distributed start-up kits to the beneficiaries in a bid to make them financially independent
  • This gesture which came on the heels of Aisha’s recent return from Dubai, had started before the COVID-19 pandemic

It seems that Aisha Buhari, came back from Dubai with a lot of goodies at heart for fellow citizens, especially the female folks.

At an event held on Thursday, March 25, the first lady empowered women and youths with sewing, knitting machines, and agricultural irrigation equipment entrepreneurship opportunities.

The initiative was conceived by the office of Aisha and started before the inception of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The president’s wife called for more intervention schemes for women and youth from both the federal governments and private organisations individuals.

She went on to state that the skills-gap training ought to be complemented with a start-up kit.

Earlier, Aisha was reported to have returned to Nigeria after spending six months in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
