After 3 Years Of Application, 2 Years Of Rejection Letters, Lady Gets Scholarship In U.K

Three years of applications, two rejection letters later and one Chevening scholarship award letter, I am officially a 2020/2021 Chevening scholar.
The journey to getting here was one that tested my faith in every way. I cannot begin to count how many times it hurt to receive rejection letter after rejection letter. Yet, I leaned on the only thing I knew to be true, and that is that God will grant me the desires of my heart.
Since my undergraduate degree in engineering, I have always wanted to pursue a masters degree in development. I have a desire to link my engineering background and work in philanthropy, and this opportunity presents me with the key to that dream.
They say access delayed, is not always access denied! Applications for next year open on the 3rd of September. If your dream is to further your studies, take a leap of faith and apply! Our dreams are valid!
To my fellow cohort, congratulations!!!! We are going to the UK! We been chosen for chevening!
