Emauni Jeanise Manley has successfully raised GHC24,000 to provide food for children who had no proper means to obtain food in her school. Blacknews.com reports that the little girl was touched emotionally when she saw some of her school children eating a cheese sandwich. Emauni inquired from her mother who also works in the same school why some of the children did not have any proper lunch and was told that those kids did not have enough money to put on their lunch account.

The mother and daughter started the fundraiser on Facebook to raise money to pay the unpaid lunch accounts of as many students as possible. Initially, the duo set out to be able to accrue about $800 (GHC4,400) but their movement fell on very fertile grounds as they ended up getting over GHC24,000.

Reports also indicate that Emauni Jeanise Manley became an author at the age of five before she even started making a difference in the lives of her classmates.

From all indications, the young girl is so passionate, hardworking and a rising star that deserves to be watched.
