Adekunle Gold Set To Provide Free Health Insurance To 1,000 People Living With Sickle Cell In Lagos State.
Singer Adekunle Gold has announced via his x platform that he would be providing free health insurance to 1,000 people living with sickle cell in Lagos State.
Adekunle Gold, has in the past open up about living with sickle cell disease.
He revealed that he was born with the condition. He uses his platform to raise awareness about sickle cell disease and advocate for better support for those affected.
He wrote:
“Today is World Sickle Cell Day.
And today, I’m proud to announce something that’s deeply personal to me.
We’re starting small by providing free health insurance to 1,000 people living with sickle cell in Lagos State.
But this is only the beginning”.
