The 30th of September marked the conclusion of my Three months internship program with UBA Group in the Human Resources department. I am lucky to have worked in one of the most encouraging and enabling environments I have ever encountered.

I worked directly with the recruitment team and became well-grounded in the recruitment process.

The time I spent at UBA HR made me more proficient in the use of some Microsoft applications; Outlook (for sending and receiving emails and also scheduling interviewing), Word, Excel (for organizing information and preventing loss of data), and Teams (for internal communication).

I also got the opportunity to practicalize some of my interpersonal skills; teamwork, emotional intelligence, responsibility, active listening, and verbal and non-verbal communication.

To my supervisors, Temitope, Benjamin, Kehinde, and Omobolanle, thank you for being amazing coaches and role models of leadership to the rest of the staff on the recruitment team and me. You made sure I had thorough and practical training on the hiring procedure. Additionally, I would like to thank you for caring about us beyond just our work.
