I am finally a first class graduate of Industrial Chemistry to the glory of God🥳🥳💃. The overwhelming joy that was in my heart when I was named the official best graduating student with a perfect 5.00 CGPA (the first of its kind in RUN) by our Vice Chancellor at the 14th convocation ceremony is beyond description. I have finally completed the undergraduate Journey I started in 2015, and proved to the world that delay is not denial.

Standing on that stage and giving the valedictorian speech, I was reminded of all the anxiety, fear and hope I had when I transferred to RUN.

I was so scared that the three years I had spent sitting at home desperately looking for internship had made me lose my academic edge. Simultaneously I also reminded of the initial relentless determination to be a first class graduate of Industrial Chemistry in this second chance, no matter how hard the course was reputed to be in our faculty.

I was a leading student at the Vaal University of Technology, and I was determined to continue that pace at the Redeemer’s University.

Today I am nothing but a testimony to what hardwork, diligence and God’s mercies can produce.

My name is forever etched in the record books of the Redeemer’s University. I have gone from being a dropout at VUT to being a pace setter at RUN. Yet, this achievement for me is only a stepping stone to my even bigger goals. .
