“Women Were Created To Help And Strengthen What Is Lacking, Not To Struggle For Dominance With Men. — Dr. Folashade Olukoya

Dr. Folashade Olukoya, wife of the General Overseer of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), has urged women to focus on complementing men rather than competing with them, describing women as “divinely designed solutions” created to strengthen society.

She made the call on Saturday in Lagos while speaking to journalists at the MFM International Headquarters during an event organised by the Association of Nigerian Female Organists, themed “Ladies on the Organ, Her Hymn, Her Organ.”

Addressing participants at the Grace Hall Auditorium, Dr. Olukoya explained that women have a unique spiritual and social mandate, citing biblical foundations to support her position. She said women were created to help and strengthen what is lacking, not to struggle for dominance with men.

She warned that societies which deny women the opportunity to contribute would suffer stagnation, stressing that inclusion and partnership are essential for healthy families, institutions and nations. She also encouraged women to boldly express their God-given gifts and occupy spaces where their voices can be heard.

Dr. Olukoya expressed gratitude to her husband, Dr. Daniel Olukoya, for supporting her vision, while the MFM General Overseer reaffirmed the church’s commitment to empowering women and promoting clean, holy music. The event concluded with impressive performances by female organists, highlighting their talent and artistic excellence.
