“Today Makes It 12 Years Since I Last Shouted, “Up Nepa”. – Successful Nigerian Man Based Abroad Shares Experience

Successful Nigerian Man based abroad named Dozie Francis Okpaleke has shared how he last shouted up nepa 12 years ago. He went on to outline the benefits of uninterrupted power supply on his Facebook page.

He wrote:

“Today makes it 12 years since I last shouted, “Up Nepa”.

Japa may not be everything and certainly there are many countries in Africa that can boast of very stable electricity. However, it is a great feeling knowing that when you flick the switch on, light appears. The energy you will use to pray that Nepa (PHCN) should not “take the light” you can use that to learn about the stock market or watch Netflix.

For those that want to Japa, may 2026 be the last time you shout, “Up Nepa”.
