Afrobeats star Tiwa Savage has described the music industry as one “filled with darkness”.

Speaking during a livestream, Savage expressed frustration at those who doubted her album’s chances of success because it lacked big-name features or club-ready tracks.

She stressed the importance of staying true to her artistry, adding that her faith and strong support system have kept her grounded.

Despite the hurdles, the singer maintained that she remains committed to creating music with depth and meaning.
