Nigerian man named I I MOSES on Facebook has shared the challenges he encountered during the time he engaged his wife.

I I MOSES recounts how lot of people said negative things about him and his wife when he got her engaged. They called him a nobody, asking why his wife would risk her life with him, as he won’t be able to feed her and how he just wanted to have sex with her .

The couple who’s set to mark 3rd years in marriage has never lacked food, or borrowed from anyone

and wrote:

“We got engaged in December 2021, and a lot of people said negative things about us at the time.

They said I was a nobody. They asked why she would risk her life marrying me when she could easily choose a richer man.

It’s not as though she didn’t have better options, especially when it came to finances.

Some said I wouldn’t be able to feed her.
Some said I only engaged her so I could have sex with her.
Some said it would take us two years to get married because I was broke.

But exactly six months after our engagement, we got married, on June 4th, 2022.

Two weeks from now will mark our third wedding anniversary.

We have never lacked food.

We have all that we need.

We’ve never had to call anyone to borrow money.

We’ve never had to beg any relative or friend for food.

We’re doing well.

We’re happy.

We are pleased with each other.

It has been God.

It doesn’t matter what negative things people say about you.

If God is for you, no one can be against you.

Whatever you want to do, people will talk, but let them talk while you live your life.

You have wasted so much time thinking about what people will say, now it is time to ignore them and live your life.

I was once called a risk.
