A man named Peter Nyamora has shared an emotional post after loosing his job.
Read his post below as shared on LinkedIn:
The hardest thing about losing my job was telling my daughter that I lost my job. But I did. Right away I did. I wanted her to know that daddy too fails. Frankly, I didn’t realize she would become the very reason I didn’t give up.
My wife taught me that we are only as sick as our secrets; so I try not to have them. I have been a sucky person with lots not to be proud of, but realizing that a little person needed my example was the whipping this dude needed to adjust his ways. Besides when life itself fixes you it’s extremely uncomfortable.
Lights and water getting cut off, vehicles getting repossessed, houses in foreclosure. Now can you imagine how I feel when someone thinks I’m special because I’m a “VP?” It’s irritating to me because if you only knew how little of me it took to get here, you’d understand my reluctance to accept the credit.
Here’s an observation I’m sure you’ll agree with. Life is unpredictable. Through it all I’m still here doing just fine through no plan of my own surrounded by people of faith at St. Joseph’s/Candler. So love God, be resilient, work hard, be kind and never settle for less than fulfilling your purpose in life. You were always special, uniquely gifted and worthy 💚
