The governor of Enugu State, Nigeria, Peter Ndubuisi Mbah was delighted to meet
Ugochukwu Prince Orji, an Abia-born immigration officer who rejected a N10 million bribe while on duty, says he has distinguished himself as a man of integrity.

Sharing a photo with young man, he wrote:

“I was delighted to receive Prince Orji Ugochukwu, the immigration officer who apprehended the prime suspect in the gruesome incident that occurred in Ezeagu, while the suspect was attempting to flee across the Nigerian border.

Ugochukwu has distinguished himself as a man of integrity who, when faced with a test of character, chose duty over personal gain and upheld the honour of his uniform. I commended him for his patriotism, courage, and refusal to compromise his values. His actions reflect the very spirit of service we strive to instil in our institutions. He is indeed a worthy role model, and we greatly appreciate his effort.
