The first time I felt snow,
It was like a dream come true.
The flakes were so gentle and slow,
As they fell from the sky.
I held out my hands and let them rest,
On my palms, a winter’s caress.
The world was hushed and at its best,
As the snowflakes danced and coalesced.
I laughed and twirled,
Historically it usually doesn’t snow in my area,
But the snowflakes swirled around me.
It was a moment of pure magic,
A memory that I’ll always hold dear, it’s fantastic.
The first time I felt snow,
It was a moment I’ll always know.
A time of wonder and joy,
This memory brings me much joy.
