Slimcase Esctatic As D’banj Gifts Him New Car

D’banj, the ace Nigerian singer, has gifted a brand new car to his colleague Slimcase.

The surprise presentation was captured in a video shared on Slimcase’s Instagram page on Friday.

In the clip, D’banj, the celebrated ‘Koko Master’, is seen handing over the keys to an elated Slimcase, declaring, “Congratulations, that is your car”.

Overwhelmed by the gesture, Slimcase poured out his gratitude in a heartfelt post, referring to D’banj as a legend and a hero

“Congratulations Slimcase. Ha Bangalee, don’t know where to start this write up from but to say thank you God for blessing me with D’banj, Koko Master @iambangalee. A legend, my hero,” he wrote.

“…God bless you and bless the work of your hands sir. Powerfully Bangalee, may you go all the days of your life.”

Born Oladapo Oyebanjo, D’banj rose to fame after the release of ‘No Long Thing’, his debut album in 2005.

With a string of awards and accolades, he has continued to make a name for himself in the music industry.

Slimcase, on the other hand, gained prominence in 2017 with his breakout single ‘Oshozondi’, which helped popularise the ‘Shaku Shaku’ dance movement.

Slimcase’s unique style blends slang-heavy lyrics with upbeat, party-ready instrumentals and has collaborated with top Nigerian artistes including Wizkid, Tiwa Savage and Reminisce.
