Singer Asake’s Alleged Father Cries Out For Help, Claims Singer Abandoned Him

A man who claims to be the father of singer Ahmed Ololadebutik, better known as Asake, Mr Fatai Odunsi, has cried out to Nigerians for help.

Reports online claim that the fast-rising singer had abandoned his father, who was paralyzed after suffering from a stroke.

Photos and videos of his ailing father are making rounds on the micro-blogging platform Twitter, now known as X.

The singer’s father is soliciting funds from the public so he can take care of his deteriorating health. Some sources claim that Asake’s father was a deadbeat and had abandoned him when he was a child; other sources claim that his father was very present in his life and it was his mother who now showers love on him that abandoned him.

The video has since caused a stir online. While some slammed the singer for abandoning his father, others dragged the father over his entitlement mentality.
