She Had Her Daughter At 24 Weeks & Was Told By Doctors That She Would Never Be Normal- Mum Shares Testimony As Her Daughter Came Out Victorious

“I was told by one too many doctors that she would never be normal or live , the list was endless. Her tiny body wasn’t fully #developed.

When I first saw her , she could fit inside my hands with a tiny #heartbeat because God was still creating her.

I was #heartbroken and torn apart, Prayer was my only weapon. Kaylah was born at 24 weeks and 2 days, weighing 795 grams due to #prom she was a micro #premature.

She dropped to 700 when she was infected with Klebsiella pneumoniae. She recovered and was #isolated for 3 months until we were discharged, weighing only 1.56 kg. it was such a huge milestone for us.

Some people never get to know their heroes, I gave birth to mine. The love and support I got from my family, friends and church members is priceless.

We wanted to show our gratitude, the love and care to the #SBAH staff showed us during our stay there is something that I will never forget or ever stop feeling emotional about. Not only did they save her life on multiple occasions, but they gave her so much #love .

Thanks to Steve Biko Academic Hospital #NICU #staff , #nurses, #professors, #specialists and #Doctors and we will forever consider them extended family.

I create the special support team behind those doors. And many thanks to Dr Van Rensburg for not resting until he got what was wrong with my daughter and treated her.

Without them, our daughter would not be here today in our arms.
If God send them to this world so prematurely, there must be something important, He want them to do and show us that with God everything is possible.

A true #strength of a #fighting spirit can never be measured by weight, length or gestational age.

Sometimes when I need to see a miracle, I look into my daughter’s eyes and realized I have created one.”
