Seplat Energy Appoints Tony Elumelu As Non-Executive Director
Seplat Energy has announced the resignation of Olivier Cleret de Langavant as a non-executive director, effective January 22, 2026, alongside the appointment of Tony O. Elumelu as his replacement on the same date.
Langavant, who joined the board in January 2020, was credited with providing strategic and technical guidance that contributed significantly to the company’s development and growth.
Seplat Energy expressed appreciation for his service and commitment during his tenure.
Elumelu, a prominent investor and philanthropist, brings decades of experience across finance, energy, and entrepreneurship. The company said his appointment is expected to strengthen its strategic direction and further reinforce its commitment to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
