Politician, Uche Nwosu Gift Scholarship To His Well Behaved Staff At Westbrook Hotel, As She Never Had The Opportunity To Further Her Education

Uche Nwosu is a prominent Nigerian politician, urban planner, and philanthropist, best known for his high-profile roles in the Imo State government and his 2019 gubernatorial bid.

He recently gifted scholarship and salary increment to his well behaved staff Chinonso, at his Westbrook Hotel, Owerri. Chinonso never had the opportunity to further her education.

Sharing a video on Facebook with Chinonso, he wrote:

“Another fulfilling moment in 2025 was listening to the life story of Chinomso, a member of my staff at Westbrook Hotel, Owerri, and being able to restore hope in her life. She hails from Isiala-Mbano LGA, Imo State, and her story is a true reminder that many people carry unfulfilled dreams due to circumstances beyond their control.

Chinomso is among our most dutiful, well-dressed, and well-behaved staff members. During a routine interaction, I discovered that although she did not have the opportunity to further her education, she possesses a strong desire, discipline, intelligence, and zeal for learning. As a result, I offered her a university scholarship and immediately approved a salary increment for her as a mark of encouragement.

I strongly believe that our society can become a better place if we treat everyone with dignity, love and fairness. Sometimes, all it takes to change a life is the willingness to listen and the readiness to act. Congratulations once again, Chinomso.”
