Billionaire businessman and philanthropist Obi Cubana (Obinna Iyiegbu) has been conferred with the high traditional title “Ife Igbo Ji ka Mba 1 of Enugwu-Ukwu N’Umunri” in a ceremony held today in the historic Enugwu-Ukwu na Umunri Kingdom.

The title, which translates to “The Igbo Treasure Greater Than Nations,” recognises Cubana’s contributions to Igbo culture, heritage, community development, and his influence across Nigeria and beyond.

The ceremony featured traditional rites, cultural performances, and celebrations of Igbo customs, drawing notable guests from across the country.

This accolade adds to a growing list of honours for the Cubana Group chairman, who hails from Oba in Anambra State. He is also scheduled to receive another chieftaincy title in his hometown in the near future.
