No Church Helped When We’re Trafficked And Forced Into Pr%stitution In Italy. They Knew About It And Even Partook In It — Izzy Ogbeide Recounts

Izzy Ogbeide, a survivor of human tr@fficking in Italy, has shared the shocking realities she and other young girls endured while being forced into pr%stitution.

She revealed that despite the widespread ab¥se, black-owned churches and local pastors were aware of the situation but offered no assistance.

“The only organization that reached out to us was the Red Cross, which provided condoms,” she said, highlighting the absence of moral or spiritual support from religious institutions.

Ogbeide described the harsh conditions tr@fficked girls faced, including being discouraged from HIV testing. “We were admonished not to do tests, so if one has HIV, they keep it with them cause nobody cares,” she explained.

According to her, pregnancies were forcibly managed by tr@ffickers, often using drugs for ab%rtion or performing invasive surgeries. “Some girls can’t even get pregnant because the madam may have removed their wombs,” she added.

She criticized the complicity of some church leaders, saying that many did not recognize the situation as human tr@fficking. “Churches never rescued a girl. They don’t even see it as human tr@fficking because even pastors and their wives have girls that pay them,” Ogbeide stated.
