Nigerian Man Shares How His Woman Stood By Him When He Got Blind And Still Agreed To Marry Him

A couple who are popular for creating content on Facebook named The Waziri’s has gone down memory lane as husband shares touching story on how he got blind and his wife stood by him.

He wrote:

“I don’t deserved the extraordinary love💙 my wife has given me. three months before I became blind when we were dating, I was at the point in my life where I felt I won’t be able to make all the millions I will need to start a family..

So I felt I won’t make such amount in the next five years and I didn’t want to delay her because I felt age was not on her side.. Guess the stupid thing I did? I started misbehaving so that she will be the one to break up the relationship.

I would pick up fights. Ignore her calls my people I really treated her badly. still yet she didn’t give up on me then eventually, I told her why I was acting up.

I told her that she should move on that there are other guys who are already financially ready for marriage..

She said she will never leave me that she’s willing to wait no matter what. Yes she said she really loves me. but I insisted, I hung up the call and told her to move on and I ignored her messages for several days and weeks.

Please note that my decision was strictly because I felt she was too good for me and I love her so much for her to have the best and I felt then as a young man I wasn’t able to give her that.

Fast forward, two months later while driving a rider as an Uber driver, I was attack3d by arm3d band1ts and sh0t in the face and became blind. while I was still with bandages on my eyes, I remember my brother told me to call my girlfriend, and I was like in my mind. If only you know what I did to that lady.,

Then my brother stole my phone and called her and told her what happened to me. Guess what guys she came that same day.. I remember when she stepped into the hospital ward I was I couldn’t see but at the moment she held my hand. I knew she was the one.

For the first time after the doctor told me I won’t be able to see I cried and I asked her. Why did you come back after all I did to you? and she said, and I quote her, Tomi you have started just rest please. and the rest is history now we are married with two amazing children, William and star.
