Nigerian Man Shares How He Sponsored His Cook To A Job Interview In Abuja 8 Years Ago, Today She Has Built Her Own Hospital

Francis Van-Lare, a US-based Nigerian businessman and social media personality has shared an inspiring story on how he sponsored his cook for an interview In Abuja, 8 Years after she announces owning an hospital.

In his words:

“About eight years ago , there was this young female doctor In Lagos who was the only one I allowed to cook any food for me otherwise I just ate in restaurants if her cooking was not available . She cooked once a week at weekends at her own expense when I visit Nigeria from the USA .

Then one day she told me she had a better job opportunity in Abuja and asked for my thoughts about it . What first crossed my mind was , ‘ who is going to be cooking for me ? ‘ . I brushed the thought aside then digged deeper as to what path was better for her and I asked questions .

The Abuja opportunity turned out to be better in comparison so I bought her flight ticket and added some pocket money for her to attend the job interview. She eventually got hired and relocated to Abuja .

This morning, she sent me a photo of a big impressive building and I asked her what building is it .

‘Thank you for your encouragement eight year’s ago and I will always remember how you paid for my trip to Abuja. This is my own hospital now in Abuja, all mine and I am expecting you to attend the opening ‘
