Nigerian Man In UK Laments After Discovering He Sent Over £10, 000 To Solve Problems For Nigerians, Says He Now Wants To Focus On His Parents Alone

Nigerian man named Obinna iheme shares how he checked his Lemfi account and discovered he has sent over £10,000 to Nigerians in just one year, solving one problem or the other. Obinna has decided to focus mainly on his parents.

Sharing on Facebook, he wrote:

“Earlier this year, I took a drastic decision. I significantly reduced the amount of money I send to Nigeria for any reason.

I was looking at my Lemfi account and I observed that in one year, I had sent over £10,000 to Nigeria. And it wasn’t for any significant project. I was just sending money to solve one problem or another.

It didn’t make sense because problem no dey ever finish and people will always come back to ask for more. The ones wey borrow no dey ever pay back.

So I decided to lock up and focus only on my parents and it’s the best decision I’ve made this year.

That money I’m sending, I’d rather invest it in something else. If I have nothing to invest in, I start thinking of the next holiday destination for my family.

Seeing that statement from Gehgeh made me happy I took that decision.

If you’re living abroad, leave people back home and focus on yourself. Give yourself a good standing first before you think of anyone else. There is nothing you can do for them that will make them see you as anything more than shit packer.”
