Nigerian Man Edirin Okoloko Made It Big, Sworn In As A Judge In America

  • With over a decade of experience in American law, the Nigerian will be replacing Judge George Bowden as he retires from the position

A Nigerian man from Delta state made the nation proud on the international scene. Edirin Okoloko was sworn in as a judge of the Snohomish County Superior Court in Washington DC, USA.

He succeeded Judge George Bowden who retired from the position.

According to Femi Johnson on LinkedIn, the Nigerian bagged his law degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria.

Okoloko did not stop there as he got another degree in law from the Seattle University School of Law. He has served for 13 years in the county as a deputy prosecuting attorney on different cases.

Before he worked as a prosecutor, the Nigerian was a judicial law clerk for a former judge in the country by the name Michael Downes.

Information on his Facebook said that “he will stand for election to retain his seat in November 2020”.
