Life lately…

It’s my Birth Month!

But more importantly, I just concluded my first term at the University of Essex !!💃🏿🎉.

I commenced my master’s degree at the University of Essex a couple of months ago. It has always been my goal to obtain an International Postgraduate Degree and I am grateful to be one of the recipients of the University of Essex Africa Scholarship in aiding the achievement of this goal.

My curiosity on how the law interfaces with Business influenced my choice for the LLM program in International Commercial and Business Law, as I have chosen modules across the business spectrum of Law which has and will be taught by incredible lecturers in the field – International Sales of Goods .

I am looking forward to more engaging discussions in the spring term as I prepare to take modules across International Financial Law, International Trade Finance Law, and Banking Law.

Transitioning to a full-time student in a new country after years of previous study has been exciting and challenging to say the least. But if these past few months is anything to go by, I am convinced that I have made the best decision for myself and my career.

I am thankful for the support of family, mentors, friends, and colleagues whose inputs have made this journey amazing.

I am beyond elated about this new phase of my life as I look forward to advancing in my career as a commercial lawyer.
