Nigerian Doctor Explains How He Defeated Covid-19 Days After Testing Positive

  • The Nigerian doctor said Covid-19 is very real, asking people to keep following relevant measures in keeping themselves safe. A Nigerian doctor with the Twitter handle @the_drterry said that days after he started showing symptoms for Coviid-19, his test result back positive. He said that he went through the very hard symptoms like fever, throat pain, chest pain, vomiting, diarrhea, chickenpox, among others.

The medical officer said the time was really a difficult one for his family, friends, coworkers, and the hospital where he works. @the_drterry said that he went through a tough time for 14 days before he tested negative for the virus.

He, therefore, advised everyone out there to be very careful by adhering to all safety rules like wearing face masks, regularly washing hands, and staying away from public gatherings.

The covid-19 survivor said that Covid-19 is very real, saying though he survived it, others might not.
