Mo Abudu Recieves Woman Of The Year Award From Series Mania, One Of The Largest TV Festivals In Europe

CEO of Ebonylife Group Mo Abudu, has been honored with an award from Series Mania, one of the largest TV Festivals in Europe.

She shared the good news on Instagram, read her post below:

I have spent the last few days in LIlle in France at Series Mania. One of the largest TV Festivals in Europe. It was such an honour to have been recognised for the leadership role that I play at EbonyLife Media and the EbonyLife Creative Academy, as the recipient of the Series Mania Woman of the Year Award 🥉

The award was given in light of all the partnerships and co-productions projects we have secured around the world. As pictured here on stage with me, are so many super talented TV female executives creating groundbreaking stories around the world.

In my acceptance speech I did emphasize that this award was special as the work we do is still rather niche in Europe as our key focus is on telling stories from our continent and in addition to that, global storytelling around the Black Experience. Important in my speech was also the need for the gatekeepers around the world to let in more Black Storytellers.

My sincere thanks to Series Mania, to the various trade magazines that continue to give us a platform to engage and to all our partners around the world for trusting us with this important task of storytelling . And to the EBONYLIFE team, as I often say, we move with love❤️❤️❤️

We are excited about bringing you some new titles in the next few weeks and months, whilst we continue in development with so many many more TV and Film projects to come 😁

We are thrilled about what the future holds in the world of storytelling for us at EbonyLife Studios and EbonyLife Films.
