How did you come up with this business idea, what was the inspiration?

I found myself within the environments of designs ranging from electrical designs for residential and commercial building plans to creative thinking job role I got in my positions as a project manager and public relations officer at various companies I worked. I found myself coming up with all design concepts and implimentation. If I could do this for people that only comes to collect the final product from me and still get paid for a job they didn’t do 90% of. It means I have what it takes to do such job and get paid too by clients. I am very finnicky about designs. I am rarely satisfied with the overboard effort put in design by most designers that eventually make such designs too clumsy. I believe in Simple and Classy.

Did you attend any form of training?

Yes I attended Advanced Graphics Design class after I have initially learnt from various tutors online and offline. One major teacher and critic I have for my design is my brother Mr Felix Fanny. He is also himself a brilliant designer with years of experience.
I still keep learning.

Why did you choose the name Demavict Design & Prints

DeMaVict is gotten from my 3 names De-mola MA-yowa Vict-or.
I started with designs before venturing to prints.

While we were younger, we had dreams of being in different professions, would you say this is what you’ve always wanted to do?

What I have always wanted to do was engineering. It is my passion but like Robert Kiyosaki said that most small business owners/self employed/profesaioners make the mistakes of sticking to what they like or put in other words their passion. He said that sometimes in real life to get to where you want to be; you have to do what you don’t like. I went for advance training course on graphics when I finished Msc in System Engineering from Unilag. I am still in another school. I seek all opportunity to learn what would make me succeed in my chosen business. Passion can be pursued fully when your business is stable and successful.

What is the best comment you’ve ever received from your customers?

From Medcourt Support Service Rep: “We have a lot of proposals from other printing companies but we decided to opt for you because of the quality of your designs and outputs we have seen”
This fills me with joy anytime I remember.

In Nigeria talented entrepreneurs hardly get support from the government, what can you say about this?

I can only pray that things gets better for us as a country. Be that as it may, we as entrepreneurs must understand that swimming and meandering the torrential current of the system is actually what determines a failure from a success.

Where do you see Demavict Design & Prints in 5 years?

I see Demavict Design & Prints becoming a household name for quality designs and printing jobs.
