Ngozi Olivia Osuoha has got great potentials, a highly talented lady whose passion is enormous. She is an inspiration. She speaks to Elorasblog in this interview.

Please introduce yourself and tell us more about your background?

I am Ngozi Olivia Osuoha, from Nkwerre, in Imo state of Nigeria.

You’re an Entrepreneur, what does your business entails?

I am a writer/poet/thinker. But a graduate of Estate Management.

What inspired you to start up your business?

I was born with it. Born and bred by teachers.

How did you discover your talent in writing?

In secondary school, I remember doing some translations in Igbo class, which my teacher would always commend.
In tertiary institution, I recall doing some personal writing on the notice board. After my OND Exams, I recall singing strange songs, and being inspired to put them down. Since then, I have been writing, though it hasn’t been long I started publishing.

What major challenges have you encountered in your business?

Poor reading culture especially in Africa, and again, funds.

What platform do use to advertise your business?

Mostly online. All forms of online strategy that I can use especially for now.

You’re the boss, how does it feel working for yourself?

Independent, at my pace, I dictate. The passion is enormous and the inspiration, divine.

Will you say it’s been financially rewarding?

Not yet, I am hopeful anyway. I do it for a better society. It’s a burden, a call, a duty towards God and man. Money will come, hopefully, but if it doesn’t, the legacy is worth it.

Where do you see your brand in 5 years?

Super Global.

By the way, I have published over two hundred and fifty poems/articles in over twenty countries, and also have featured in over sixty international anthologies.

I have published ten books in Kenya, Canada, Philippines, and US. I have co-authored one poetry book with a Kenyan too. Some of my manuscripts are with publishers and some are coming out this August.
