Man Shares Reason Why He Quit His Finance Job In Year 2017 To Become A Dating Coach, Finds More Fulfillment In His Career

I quit my finance job in 2017 to become a dating coach; I enjoyed studying the male-female dynamics.

I’d often go to cafes & talk to people. I’d hear stories about people’s personal lives; the sexes would often complain about lack of dating experience. With my acquired knowledge, I’d blog & answer ‘dating’ questions on Quora.

And to my surprise, men would reach out to me. They’d usually ask, – ‘How to initiate a conversation?’

That made me think – ‘What if I become a dating coach?’
Thankfully, my parents supported my ‘unconventional career’ choice & I started writing for dating websites.

That made men contact me to help them personally.
And 5 years later, I’ve helped over 500 men play to their strengths in the dating game.

I teach men how to understand chemistry, & boundaries & how to talk using eyes. I tell my clients, ‘Over 90% of human communication is nonverbal. Make use of it!’

I recall how I once helped a client; he was 34, from a conservative home that discouraged him from mingling with women.

While walking with him, 2 girls behind us giggled. When I encouraged him to smile back, he hesitated, ‘It’s inappropriate.’ That’s when I realized that his notion of what was ‘appropriate’ & ‘inappropriate’ had been imposed on him his entire life!
It took 7 months for me to break him out of his shell.

And 2 years later, he’s much more confident around women.

Then there was another client who was a hit on dating apps; he was a good conversationalist! However, he had zero interaction skills with women socially!

Once, I saw a woman trying to exchange glances with him. He was so nervous that I held his hand & took him to the woman! His interaction wasn’t perfect, but his willingness to open up after allowed me to work with him.

And today, he’s about to propose to the love of his life! To hear him say, ‘You taught me to trust my inner voice,’ is delightful!
I love my work. But I’m often misunderstood; people believe I’m like Salman Khan’s character in ‘Partner.’

But the way I see it, I help in bringing people together. And you tell me, is there any better job in the world other than the one that gets you to your happily ever after?”
