A young man has executed a neighbourly act out of compassion for a grandma and her grandchildren with the aid of some well-meaning people.

He demolished her ancient raft-designed house and built a more conducive home for the elderly woman’s family.

The man with Twitter handle, @lemdzabu shared a photo of the new home and thanked everyone who played a part in the project.

He also posted a picture of the old hut that the old lady used to live in and in the caption, he explains that they will be working on similar projects in the future.

The man tweeted:

“We finally did it. Thanks to all those who donated into this project. A grandmother and her grandchildren have their dignity restored.

We are going for another project soon. We hope to receive the same support. We won’t stop until everyone has his/her dignity restored.”
