Two graduates from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have collaborated with three other students from the University of Ngoourdri in Cameroon to come up with a social media platform.

According to Prince Agyemang, the lead for product development on the team who spoke to YEN.com.gh, the platform which works somewhat like Facebook or LinkedIn is called Agrisuites.

He further indicated that the entire team is made up of two of them from KNUST and three other talented minds from the University of Ngoourdri in Cameroon.

Agrisuites is a social network platform created exclusively for food and agricultural professionals to connect with one another, share ideas and make use of its many digital tools to improve agricultural activities.

The platform takes into account the fact that a large percentage of farmers do not use platforms and therefore has a feature for them to link-up using voice conversation.

Apart from simply connecting with other farmers on Agrisuites, the farmers will also have the chance to obtain information on the latest products, technologies, and other forms of useful updates through the platform.

Fabrice Abunde is the CEO of Agrisuites and Eyong Galvin serves as the chief technical officer. Ndam David and Tiemuncho Habass are the other teammates.
