“Life Is Much Better Here’- Nurse Says As She Resigns From Her Job In The National Health Service (NHS) Abroad, Moves Back To Nigeria, And Set To Pursue Her Online Business

A Nigerian nurse, identified as Desola, has stirred reactions online after revealing that she resigned from her job in the National Health Service (NHS) abroad and moved back to Nigeria to pursue her online business full-time.

In a video shared on her TikTok handle, @banjo_dess, the young nurse disclosed that she booked a one-way ticket to Lagos immediately after quitting her job.

Sharing her experience, she wrote:

“POV: You resigned from your ICU job in the NHS, booked a one-way ticket to Lagos to focus on your online business and life feels like this.”

Although she did not specify the nature of her online business, Desola appeared excited about her new chapter in Nigeria.

The returnee compared her experiences abroad to her current life in Nigeria, claiming that she feels happier and more fulfilled at home. In her words:

“Life is much better here…”

Her decision has since sparked mixed reactions among social media users. While some praised her for choosing happiness and purpose over foreign comfort, others expressed disbelief that she would leave a stable job in the NHS for life in Nigeria.
