Lady Who Sent Over A 100 Job Applications In 7 Months, Finally Succeeds, Starts New Job, Says It Came Unexpected

Titilope Elizabeth Akinola has shared her job haunting journey on her LinkedIn platform.

Titilope was marvelled while going through her emails and realized that she has sent over a 100 emails from August 2021 to febuary 2022, that was 7 months ago, she was getting offers but she wanted a job on her career path.

Titilope who finally got a job says it came unexpected because she doesn’t remember applying for it.

Sharing her story on LinkedIn, she wrote:

MY JOB SEARCH JOURNEY

Checking through my sent mail, i discovered I had sent close to 100 job applications from August 2021-February 5th 2022.

Was I not getting job offers????
YES, i got offers outside my dream butI was tired of wasting my time just working, I wanted my career.

A profession that I am always proud of..
Several Recruiters do not care about my passion to work but rather kept rejecting me cause I was truthful to say that I WASNT HAVING THE RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE Even though having certifications and skills..

All these times, I kept working on myself, got an additional certification, joined Accounting Job Hub and kept learning daily…

My new Job came unexpected (cause I can’t even remember applying for it).

I was so scared of being kicked out as usual, but amidst my fear, iwas asked if I could learn so fast on the job cause they saw the zeal and passion in me..
I was employed without discrimination, welcomed in love, and YES I am not ready to disappoint the company and the finance unit…Two(2) recruiters who had boldly walked me out cause I had no work experience called back within first 3days of my resumption and I proudly said ‘ ‘Sorry, I have a job’

WHATSOEVER DREAM YOU’RE HAVING, DONT GIVE UP ON IT.
