Lady Who Had Brain Tumour Two And half Years Ago, Recovers Fully
A lady named Mildred Talabi who had brain tumour two and half years ago, has shared her journey to recovery.
Mildred who always visits her doctor became emotional when during one of their meetings, he said, “everything looks great, you’re doing well”.
Sharing her amazing testimony on LinkedIn, she wrote:
Once a year, I travel 25 miles from Kent to south London to sit across the table from my doctor, only for him to say to me:
“Everything looks great, Mildred. You’re doing well.”
The meeting lasts approximately five minutes, but it’s totally worth it.
You see, this isn’t just any ordinary doctor, and this isn’t just any regular appointment.
Two and half years ago, I had a brain tumour which had me spend a month in this same hospital, including six hours in surgery under the care of this same doctor.
Today, I’m fully recovered and able to function even better than before! 🙏🏿🙌🏿
Every time I get on the train to make the 25-mile journey to check in with my doctor, I’m reminded of the importance of being alive.
Of how I’m still here today because I have a purpose and a mission to accomplish.
As do you.
You don’t need a life or death situation to appreciate life, but it sure does put things in perspective.
Make the most of your life while you still have it.
Find your purpose, live out your purpose.
Have a great week 🙏🏿❤️
