A Nigerian lady identified as Ameera Yusuf has shared her harrowing experience in the hands of a yahoo boy who attempted to use her for rituals. In a Twitter thread, Ameerah recounted how she met the man who she identified as Richard. Shortly after meeting at the bank, they grew close and he told her he was into real estate development.

Ameerah disclosed she was lured to Asaba by Richard.

Happy to spend time with him, Ameerah who noted he was secretive, obliged to tag along when he asked her to accompany him to see a property in Asaba, Delta state.

According to the story, they travelled to Asaba with two other men Richard introduced as his friends. However, Richard’s interaction with the men didn’t seem like they were friends, Ameerah said. She stated that even though they arrived Asaba late, Richard insisted they visited the property that night. On their way there, she fell asleep and when she woke up, she found herself tied and on the ground, surrounded by a witchdoctor who was chanting some incantations in the presence of Richard and the other men. She wrote: “I was in shock and had series of thoughts in a moment but didn’t have a clue how it was all gonna end.

But I somehow was prepared for death because I noticed the knives, candles and buckets around. I knew immediately that I had brought myself to my unfortunate end.”

However, luck shone on her when they heard several gunshots in the air, leading them to flee and abandon her there.

Ameerah disclosed that the gunshots were from some policemen and armed robbers whom they had been chasing within that area. They rescued her and she narrated her ordeal to them. Ameerah added that Richard is yet to be found. She went on to advise women about the type of men they give into. “My advice to young girls of this generation. I’m a good example and lucky to narrate my story myself, not many do.

A guy might look and sound gentle but deep down he could be the devil himself. Watch and pray,” she wrote.
