Lady Says Life Is Spiritual After She Was Called For An Interview By Mistake And Got The Job

I Used To Laugh When People Say “Life Is Spiritual.” 😂

Until one strange week changed my mind about everything concerning the spirit.

I had been job hunting for months in Abuja. Submitting CV everywhere. Emails here and there, still nothing to show for it!

One Monday morning as I was stepping out for an interview, my mum called to her room.
“Have you prayed today?” she asked.

I laughed. “But Mummy, prayers won’t give me a job nau. No be everything be prayers…”

She didn’t argue. She just said, “Okay.”

The next day I went for another interview again.

The HR looked at my CV and said something shocking.
“You actually got this interview by mistake.”
Apparently they meant to call another person with the same name.
I was about to stand up and leave when she said, “But since you’re already here, let’s talk.”

We spoke for about 20 minutes. Nothing serious sha.

Two days later they called me.
“Can you resume on Monday?”
I was confused.

So I asked the HR what changed.
She laughed and said something I’ll never forget.
“Honestly? When you left, my boss walked past and randomly asked about you. I don’t even know why.”

That evening my mum called me to her room again.
“Did they call you?” I went quiet because I hadn’t told her anything.

That was the first time in my life I paused and thought:
Maybe, just maybe, life is indeed spiritual. 🥹
