“In My Next Life, I’D Still Choose To Be Nigerian” – DJ Cuppy Vows As She Celebrates Nigeria At 65

Nigerian disc jockey DJ Cuppy is celebrating Nigeria as it marks its 65th anniversary today.

Taking to her Instagram page to share a clip of herself, Cuppy vowed that in her next life, she will still choose to be a Nigerian. She described Nigeria as her home, birthplace, and country.

The daughter of Otedola noted that, through it all, Nigerians continue to push, persevere, and find joy even in the toughest times. She added that God didn’t rush when He made us and gave us resilience, spirit, and endless energy.

In her words:

“My birthplace. My home. My country. Today, Nigeria turns 65

Through it all, our people keep persevering and finding joy even in the toughest times…

God didn’t rush when He made us!!! He gave us resilience and spirit. In my next life, would STILL choose to be Nigerian”.

Last year, when Nigeria celebrated its 64 years of gaining independence, Cuppy described Nigeria as her superpower. She admitted that though Nigeria is going through tough times, it remains and will always be a peace of hope. She stated that being a Nigerian is the superpower of her brand as no matter where she goes, she will always carry a piece of Nigeria with her.
