“I Was Unemployed Broke I Was A Shadow Of Myself, I Almost Unalived Myself At That Time.”- Successful Nigerian Man Based Abroad Shares Nigerian Experience From 13 Years Ago

Nigerian man named Francis Okpaleke based abroad has shared his bitter experience in Nigeria from 13 years ago.

Francis recalls how
he was unemployed and broke, this eventually made him a shadow of himself. He felt defeated, It was one of the darkest moments of his life as he almost unalived himself at that time. Today Francis is alive and very successful, he’s thanking God for a second chance, as he encourages others.

Sharing on Facebook, he wrote:

“More than 13 years ago I survived the most depressing episodes of my life because I had thought my life would not turn out well based on the myriad of complex issues I was facing at that time. I was unemployed. Broke. I was a shadow of myself. Defeated. It was one of the darkest moments of my life. I almost unalived myself at that time.

In my contemplation, I would ask God to show me a sneak peek of my future and would go to bed hoping that I would see it in my dream. I didn’t see anything.

Today, anytime I think of yesterday past, I thank God for second chances.

Before you quit today, hold on a bit more. If life is showing you shege, don’t throw in the towel, yet. If you have no more motivation or belief in yourself, hang in there. May God answer your prayers. Turn things around for you. Dry your secret tears. Help you fight your silent battles. Hold your hand. Wrap you close. May you find courage to believe in yourself again.
