“I Was Shot Several Times, Yet Not A Single Bullet Penetrated My Body,” — Pastor Chris Okafor Recounts His 58-Day Ordeal In Kidnappers’ Den

Pastor Chris Okafor has shared the terrifying experience he endured when he was kidnapped, describing it as a near-death ordeal. Speaking in his church, he recounted the violent attack, saying:

“I was shot by the kidnappers again and again. They were shooting sporadically; it was like a war zone situation. They shot and shot, but not a single bullet penetrated my body because I’m too surrounded to surrender. For greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world.”

He revealed that for 58 days, he was held blindfolded and in chains, with minimal clothing. “I was blindfolded with chains in my hand, and the only covering upon me was a boxer. Three times they carried us with the former Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly and put us in the boot of an SUV to go and attack police in their station. Three times they were exchanging fire, and we were there chained and blindfolded,” he said

Pastor Okafor’s account highlights both the extreme danger he faced and his reliance on faith during the ordeal. The incident has sparked widespread reactions.
