‘I Made Her Famous’ — MC Fish Breaks Silence On Split From Anita Joseph

Michael, the estranged husband of Anita Joseph, has publicly responded for the first time since the actress declared their marriage over.

The marriage, which began in 2020, ended last year. The separation followed months of intense speculation with Anita citing infidelity, domestic violence, and substance abuse as causes for the collapse, alongside reports that she suffered two pregnancy losses during the union.

While the film star previously assured she was “doing fine,” she refrained from details on her failed marriage.

Breaking his silence in a series of posts on Instagram, MC Fish launched a robust defence against circulating narratives, particularly those labelling him a “gold digger”.

He argued that he brought relevance and structure to Joseph’s career. He also detailed his contributions, alleging he helped set up a business for her, managed her social media monetisation, and acted as her personal assistant and manager.

The entertainer also insinuated that Anta initiated their relationship, noting she “toasted me” while he was working. He warned rumour mongers to stop spreading what he called false narratives.

“I’ve been an MC/Hypeman for over 15 years u will be the fool of 2026 to think that I don’t work for my money. Because u can’t afford me doesn’t mean I don’t work,” he wrote.

“I’ve always maintained my lane I Dey where I dey hype when dem come toast me and e lead to a marriage, fine marriage no work again and the next thing woman dey feed me.

“I dare her to say she took care of the bills by herself in the 5 years of that marriage. I still repeat am again if dem born una well make una come talk am for my front I’m still saying it Bee.

“Make we no start dey talk wetin we don do for that marriage but if anybody lie for my head masala go burst and names go flow so make nobody whine me.

“Una papa I still repeat myself make one of una just come whine me, Dj play me “scapegoat” @Ozuors ,an igbo woman stayed in marriage with me for 5 years and u clowns think for once she will stay if l’m not holding my weight of doing due diligence.

“To all her minions we dey talk rubbish for this app I have only one message for u, I made her complete and whole as a woman in the eyes of the society but because the story goes bad doesn’t mean u be blind to the truth.

“I helped u set up a business, I helped in the process of ur monetization for all ur social media, I was ur pa / manager/ pr at some point.
