“I Know Everyone Says, Follow Your Passion, When I Started Kilishi Business, I Wasn’t Passionate. I Was Just Hungry.”- Nigerian Man Who’s Thriving At Kilishi Business Says It Wasn’t His Childhood Dreams

Nigerian man named Chi Boy on Facebook has shared how he had to settle for Kilishi Business. Chi Boy said it was never a passion, but he was just hungry. The young man who is now thriving in the business, says his passion came when people appreciated the value of his business. He shared his story on Facebook.

He wrote:

I know everyone says, “Follow your passion,” but let me be honest with you.. when I started, I wasn’t passionate.

I was just hungry.. for growth, for progress, for a better life.

Kilishi wasn’t my childhood dream. Importing gadgets wasn’t something I fantasized about.

I didn’t start selling Jerseys and shoes because I was “passionate.” I started because I saw opportunity, and I needed to survive.

Passion came later, when the business started making sense, when people started appreciating the value, when the money started coming in.

Sometimes, passion doesn’t lead the way.. responsibility does.

You don’t have to love it at first. Just do it well. Serve people. Improve. Be consistent.

The passion will grow. The results will fire you up.

So if you’re waiting to “feel passionate” before you move, you might wait forever.

Start with sense, not just passion. Be responsible and let the results build your excitement.
