“I Failed To Secure A Single Job After I Applied To Over 10 Jobs Even Though I Had A PhD” – Man Shares All The Times He Has Failed In Life & His Wasted Efforts

A determined young man, Dr. Akanimo Odon has shared his journey through life on his academy path and how he has failed incessantly on many occasions.

Dr. Akanimo concluded that sharing stories of successes and victories has behind it some wasted effort, heartache, & frustration that he never talked about.

He took time to analyse all the times he has failed in life on his LinkedIn platform, he wrote:

I failed JAMB examinations with terrible scores …. I failed it twice.….even though I had 8A’s in my SSCEs…

I failed to get into Medicine with all I tried….

I failed to get a scholarship for my Masters degree after applying to five different universities even though I had a first class in my bachelors….

I failed to get a PhD scholarship after applying to over 10 universities….….

I failed to secure a single job after I applied to over 10 jobs even though I had a PhD and had interview calls for most….

I failed to get a mortgage cos my credit score was a disaster..…..

But all these failures has a ‘but moment’ when things turned around….

I might share stories of successes and victories like we all do ‘but’ behind these there is sometimes a wasted effort, a heartache, a frustration, a mistake and several failures I don’t share about. Maybe I should…

Point is…..it is okay and your ‘but moment’ will come ..……..
