The Only Houses I Have Are Those I Had Before I Got Into Government – Buhari

The president, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), has revealed what his response was when King Charles III asked if he had a house in the United Kingdom during their meeting on Wednesday.

Buhari shared his response in a video posted by one of his aides, Tolu Ogunlesi, on Twitter on Thursday.

He said, “And he asked me whether I have house here, I said no, even in Nigeria, the only houses I have are those I have before I got into government.

I am not very much interested in having assets all over the place. I feel much more free when I have nothing.”
