2017 I was applying for a job in IT.

Doing job interviews is rough. One of my job interviews was only port numbers. Nothing to do with the job description.

Another interview, I got asked super technical questions on dhcp, dns, dora, osi layer, and putty.

I had another interview where it all went well but never got an email and HR ghosted me.

Another interview I felt like they wanted me and I got a rejection email 2 hours later.

I applied for another job and the hiring manager laughed at me during the interview questions. A big red flag from that company.

I applied to over 150 jobs. I got hired because I didn’t give up.

I finally got hired at a hedge fund because of my personality. I didn’t do anything new or creative. I just never gave up.
