Hilda Baci: Man Who Flew From Port Harcourt For Jollof Rice Festival Shows What He Saw At Venue

A man took a flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos for Hilda Baci’s cooking of the biggest pot of jollof rice.

He shared his observation after seeing the large pot and was amazed by how the event was set up.

A man took a flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos for Hilda Baci’s record-breaking jollof rice cook-off. Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, had announced online that she would be attempting to make history for the largest pot of jollof rice ever cooked.

The event is set for September 12, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Lagos

In an Instagram video by @outside_with_charlie, the man showed when the popular chef was washing the pot ahead of the cook-off.

The man also showed some of the sound and stage setup for the event. In his video, Hilda Baci was seen washing the pot as many people gathered to record her. He said: “I just arrived Lagos from Port Harcourt because I want to experience this my self… My phone is not doing justice to this pot because it can carry over 90 bags of rice.

Please you people should come out and support her. “It’s not going to be easy and it’s going to be like a party because I’m seeing a lot of sound and stage setup. A lot of your favourites are going to be there too.”
