Her Mum Never Went To School, But She Knew The Value Of Education And Sent Her Daughter To Canada For Schooling, 8 Years After She Welcomed Her To Canada
A young lady named Ndey Yaddin Mara has shared how she relocated to school in Canada at age 19 sent by her mum who is a single mother.
8 years after, Ndey is excited to welcome her mum to Canada , she narrated briefly how her mum never went to school but she knew the value of education, and today that sacrifices has paved way for her.
In her words:
“I came to Canada for school when I was 19 and it became My second home. 8 years later I am more than grateful to welcome my mother here
My mum never went to school, she was single mother who knew the value of a good education. She understood that creating a great life required great sacrifices. Which might look like sending me off to a country I had neither family or friends.
Some of you might relate to this experience or not, but I believe we all have people or someone whose sacrifices paved the way to us. Whose belief in us made us believe in ourselves little more. Just as it’s also important to celebrate the people whose shoulders we lean on .
Who is that person for you?
Ps: This is not a mother’s day post.”
