Sumbo Adeoye, wife of Pastor David Adeoye, the General Overseer of Royalty Christian Centre, has gone down memory lane as she celebrates her 84 year old hardworking mother who inspired her to become the woman she’s today.

Sharing on Instagram, she wrote:

As little girls, my sister @deemefbeauty and I would hide inside mum’s Land Cruiser whenever shes off to get her supplies at the depot.

Mum had a supermarket, and was simultaneously running a restaurant at the staff canteen of Mulmaco and First Aluminium companies respectively.

We would cover ourselves in sacks (not without the help of her assistants) and only unveil when we are sure she’s too far to turn back home.

She was very industrious and still is to a large extent at 84years Old and her industriousness inspired and influenced our strong desire to achieve something.

Never under estimate the power of influence the person you constantly look up to, have over you. After all, as the saying goes, “We become like who we see.”

Remember, as we look up to admirable individuals and witness their determination, resilience, and hard work, we absorb those qualities and incorporate them into our own lives.

It’s through these examples that we learn, grow, and ultimately become who we aspire to be.
