He dropped out of school in form one because he found school boring.
Ganje convinced his mother to allow him to take a one year break . It was during this break that Ganje’s road to success started.
Herbert Knight Ganje is a Zimbabwean Entrepreneur and founder of H & G Advertising, a multi-million dollar advertising company in Botswana.
During his one year break he visited his friend in Botswana, when Ganje arrived in Botswana he stayed in a tuck shop where he had a mattress and blanket.
But during this difficult time he was focused on his goal which was to set up a company.
While staying in the tuck shop, he got his first client , he made a presentation to them and the client was impressed.
That was how H & G Advertising started.
H & G Advertising now employs more than 80 permanent employees and 600 temporary staff. Its turnover is about US$38 million a year.
Currently, the company operates in Botswana, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Zambia, Ethiopia, Lesotho, Mozambique, Uganda, Malawi, and Eswatini. It boasts of reputable clients like Coca Cola, Emirates, Unilever, Samsung, and others.
Ganje has now opened several other companies namely, H & G OutDoor, H & G Activations, H & G Express, and Zonke Ignition.
He was named on the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 Entrepreneurs list and the 30 Most Promising Young Entrepreneurs in 2017.
